    About Us

    Picture
We are a team of NLP qualified coaches offering life coaching and help with alcohol and drug problems in London - we offer appointments in Canary Wharf, Weybridge and Shaftsbury Avenue, but can also work elsewhere in London and Surrey if required.  We have broad experience in business, the City,  the performing arts and alcohol and drug services.  We have all experienced the extraordinary benefits of NLP in our own lives, and are committed to working individually and together to help other people to realise their ambitions, improve their performance in any aspect of their lives and enjoy life more.  In the corporate sphere, executive coaching and workshops can reduce workplace stress, improve productivity and team effectiveness. We also work with children and young people to boost confidence and help with such issues as exam worries.

We are all individual members of The Professional Guild of NLP, and were trained by Pegasus NLP who are committed to providing high quality, skills-led training.  The Pegasus certification programmes conform with the Guild's standards, Code of Practice and guidelines.

With many problems, NLP coaching can achieve remarkably quick results - as you will see from our testimonial page.  However, at our first appointment we will assess you and give you an honest opinion about what we can do for you and how long it might take.  If we can't help you, or if we think you need some other type of specialist help, we will say so.

Many of us spend a lot of time, effort and money on our looks, and to some extent on our physical health - but when was the last time you took a fresh look at your emotional and psychological health?

    What is NLP?

    Picture
NLP stands for Neuro Linguistic Programming - a rather daunting name for some extremely effective techniques.

Neuro refers to our use of our nervous system through the five senses - sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste. Linguistic refers to the verbal and non-verbal ways in which we sort, store, give meaning to and communicate our experiences. Programming refers to the patterns, sytems or programmes that run our communications with ourselves and with others.

NLP is a model - a way of studying how a person does something - analysing their patterns of thinking, language and behaviour in order to extract the essential elements. This model can then be copied, altered or taught to others.

NLP is an attitude - it is a way of looking at life with curiosity, wonder and fascination, a sense of humour and adventure and a desire to learn from every situation.NLP is a collection of techniques - a wide range of procedures for making changes in our lives, and assisting others to do the same.

    Core Principles of NLP
NLP is based on a range of fundamental principles which guide practitioners in everything they do. The following list includes the most important principles that are used in coaching:

    • There is a solution to every problem.
    • For many complex reasons, everyone's view of 'reality' is different - NLP recognises and respects this.
    • People have all the resources they need to cope effectively in the world - even if they do not currently know how to access them.
    • In any situation a person makes the best choice with the resources currently available - people do not set out to get things wrong.
    • NLP redefines mistakes as feedback. Failure is a positive learning experience. Few of the world's most successful people haven't suffered failures along the way.
    • NLP emphasises finding solutions rather than analysing causes - in this way it is unlike counselling.
    • Mind and body are part of one system.
